Today we gave notes on Ch. 2.1. Which mainly was about how to take a sample the right way and the wrong way. The right way to take a sample is called an SRS, simple random sample. The way you do that is by 1. Labeling all members of the entire population (00, 01,…, 33 for say a class of 34 students). and then step 2 is to use a random digit table. See Table A in back of book. The two wrong ways to sample are called convenience samples and voluntary response, feel free to read about them in book. See Town Talk story in beginning of ch.2. HW was #2,3,9,11-13,
